Keyless wallet is a wallet that doesn’t generate or keep full private keys and seed phrases at any moment.

Specifically, "Keyless" wallet means that:

  • In the whole process of creating a keyless wallet, the private key is not created or stored at any time and anywhere.
  • While signing a transaction, there is no private key involved, and the private key is never reconstructed at any time.

Unlike traditional wallets that sign transactions with a private key, which creates a risk of theft, Keyless wallet is able to co-sign the transaction with several key shares from different parties in a distributed way, without exposing key shares to each other or any other party.
